Whether you're taking your very first steps in Italian, planning an unforgettable trip to Italy, or working towards fluency, Let's Rock Italian has a course to match your goals, experience, and lifestyle. Every class is taught by a native Italian tutor in a small, supportive group, giving you plenty of opportunities to practise speaking and build confidence from day one.
Choose from online or in-person classes in Cork. Each course runs for 13 or 14 weeks, depending on the course, and is designed to support you wherever you are on your Italian journey, whether you are starting from scratch or ready to take the next step. We combine structured learning with real conversation, so you will actually use what you learn, all in a supportive, relaxed, and enjoyable environment.

Italian for Children – A Fun Introduction
This live online course is designed for primary-school-aged children who are new to Italian or have very little experience. Through games, songs, stories, and simple interactive activities on screen, children will learn basic words and phrases in a relaxed, playful environment.
Italian Beginners Continuation 1.2 (A1)
This course is designed for learners who have completed the Complete Beginner
course and are ready to further develop their Italian skills. Over 14 weekly one-hour
sessions, you'll continue developing your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
at the A1 level.
Leaving Certificate Italian Preparation (mixed levels)
This course is designed for 4th and 5th year students who are planning to sit Italian for
their Leaving Certificate. Over 14 weekly one-hour sessions, we'll work through the
exam curriculum in a focused, supportive setting.

Italian Complete Beginners 1.0 (A1) – "Let's Get Started"
This is our introductory course for absolute beginners. This course requires no previous
knowledge of Italian. Over 14 weekly one-hour sessions, you will learn the basics of
Italian from the ground up in a friendly, supportive environment.

Conversational Italian 2.0 (A2)
This course is for relatively new learners (A2) who want to improve their spoken Italian.
Each week centres on a different topic for discussion, with key grammar points woven
in along the way. The main focus is practical communication and active conversation,
getting you talking with confidence.
Italian Complete Beginners 1.0 (A1) – "Let's Get Started"
This is our introductory course for absolute beginners. This course requires no previous

Conversational Italian 3.0 (B1/B2) – Advanced Conversation
This course is for learners who already speak Italian with confidence (B1+) and want to
take their fluency further. Each week centres on a different topic: from current events
and culture to debate and storytelling. Grammar is reviewed as needed, but the main
focus is on developing fluency through discussion and conversation.
Italian for Children – A Fun Introduction
This live online course is designed for primary-school-aged children who are new to
Italian or have very little experience. Through games, songs, stories, and simple
interactive activities on screen, children will learn basic words and phrases in a relaxed,
playful environment. The focus is on having fun while building confidence building
confidence in using Italian through its sounds, rhythms and simple everyday
expressions.
Grammar Focus Group 3.0
These classes are intended for learners with a solid knowledge of Italian who want to
deepen their understanding of grammar through real-life use. Each week we will focus
on a specific grammar topic and put it into practice through conversation and real-life
situations.
Intermediate Italian 3.0 (B1–B2)
Our most popular course for intermediate learners who want to get talking. Each week
brings a new topic for discussion in Italian, with targeted grammar review built in. The
goal is practical communication through real conversation.
Italian Classes – Continuation (A2)
A course for learners who have completed A1 and are working towards A2. The main
aim is practical communication and active conversation, so you will be using Italian in
real, meaningful ways from day one.
Italian Classes – Beginners (A1)
These classes are for learners who are continuing their A1 level and are ready to build
on what they have already learned. The course has a strong grammar focus, with clear
explanations and structured practice, while speaking remains a central part of every
session. The course book is strongly recommended for grammar reference and
homework
Important Information
- All courses are subject to a minimum number of participants. Please register early to secure your place and allow us sufficient time to confirm the course.
- In-person classes take place at Douglas Community Centre or Heron's Wood, Carrigaline. Online classes are delivered via Zoom.
- Returning students are entitled to a 10% discount on the course fee.
- Discounts are available if you enrol in more than one course. Please get in touch for details.
- A €50 deposit is required to secure your place. Please get in touch with me first to confirm availability and receive payment instructions.
- Can't make a class? Course materials (and recordings, where available) will be shared with enrolled students.
